Mr. Stephen Nkrumah Dampare

Mr. Stephen Nkrumah Dampare is currently the Chief Manager (Materials), a position he fully assumed in July 2019, having been in acting capacity since May 2015.

His academic and professional qualifications include a Final Professional Certificate and Chartered/Corporate Membership (MCIPS) in Procurement and Supply Chain Management awarded by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply – CIPS (UK) in 1997; and a Master of Public Administration by the Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA, Accra) in 2008.

He joined the Ghana Water Company in September 1996 as Assistant Purchasing Officer and has since played key roles in Procurement at the Head Office, handling documentary credits, tracking imports and goods clearance, preparing tender documents and co-ordinating meetings of Tender Review Committees.

He also had brief stints in regional procurement activities in Western and Accra East Regions.   He headed the procurement team of Aqua Vitens Rand Limited (AVRL) during the tenure of the Management Contract with GWCL.
